Hi Everyone,

Erika here with this week's Altered/Collage Challenge. This week we are altering painted portraits. You can use any painted portrait you like and alter it - adding your own special artistic touches...really make it your own :001_smile:

I had so much fun with this one - I used a painted portrait of my 13th great grandaunt. You can view my sample layout here:

I hope you'll join me in the fun this week! Be sure to post a link to your layout here in this thread so we can all admire your work!

Have fun!:carrot:

I've got those ones of my great grandparents I really should take the opportunity to scrap. I'll try to give it a shot if I can squeeze it in.:carrot:

(I love this dancing carrot guy, just had to put him in there, set the mood for my day)

Unfortunately we don't have any painted works of our family, although I'm wondering if perhaps one of my mother's family stole one, once? ;) Her Australian line are descended from an English convict (he stole 200 pounds (currency) worth of silver). I don't think I'll be able to join in...

LOL I've just seen this little critter and HAVE to add it in. :aloofandbored10:

Hi Ladies,

Yes, a sketch would work too, Sue :) Also, it doesn't necessarily have to be a portrait of a famliy member, it can be any painted portrait that you'd like to alter. Mine just happened to be a family member.

I can't wait to see your layouts
