Well, I have one:
What about cameras? My point&shot just died this month (I'm surviving without my camera, don't ask me how :banghead:) and I'm buying a new one already.
But soon I want to buy a dSLR too. But how to choose a good camera? I need some advice about this:lol3:
Thanks

I really want to learn how to edit and improve my pics on PS. Because really, with the camera I have, you can go all night long giving me photography tips and still it won't get any better, LOL... Thank heavens for Photoshop!

I would love some more pointers on taking indoor sport photos & indoor theater dance photos! I do lots of experimenting with these types of pics & have pretty good results, but would love to see what settings you all use (DSLR)!

Definitely tips about photographing kids--moving or otherwise! I took the kids by myself to the park the other day and it took an hour and lots of tears and frustration to get a few good ones, and none of them were of all three together.

DD has a ballet recital coming up and I'd love tips about shooting in low light, too! :)

Duct tape.

And super glue.

yes. I'll be going now...

(Seriously though..)

Best thing I've found.. dress them up, put them in whatever situation you want them in (park/in front of a canvas or where ever you're shooting) and then give them a toy.

Yes, give it to them. And then just take lots and LOTS of pictures cause out of 50, you'll get 2 good ones. But with the toy in their hand, they'll focus on that and sit at least mildly still, and if you get down on the ground and shoot up from under them, you can get some great facial shots where they're looking at the toy or even they'll look at you (the camera) to see what you're doing.

It eases some stress and makes for some interesting shots. :)

At least that works sometimes, just my two cents! I'm no expert.

I would love some more pointers on taking gymnastics & ballet photos without using flash (they don't want to have flash so the kids won't be distracted)

I 'm still trying to experiment with these types of pics, but I would love to see what settings you all use using DSLR.

And tips and technique using apperture too.

Thanks!
