Hi ladies,
Denise here, with my first Altered/Collage challenge for you! :)
This weeks challenge is to use a Book or Journal in your collage. You can use a book open, closed, alter it, make a shrine, go vintage, the sky is the limit.
For inspiration check out the work of Nina Bagley, a mixed media artist. You can find her blog here. (http://ornamental.typepad.com/ornamental/2008/05/hello-everyone.html) She creates a lot of gorgeous jewelry, but also participates in circle journals and teaches workshops. There are several photo galleries on her blog, one is her project the Book of Trees. (http://ornamental.typepad.com/photos/book_of_trees/index.html)[/URL]
