What more could a grandparent or other family member love more then a cd full of photos as a present? This is a quick and easy gift idea. After you've finished burning your photos on cd why not decorate the case?
Basic instructions include: (you might want to measure your cd case to make sure the dimensions are the same)
Create a 4.75x4.75 layout (this will be the front), after this you will also need to create another which will go on the back of the front to become the inside cover. Attach these 2 layouts with adhesive and slip in the front of the cd
Create 2 layouts that are each 4.6x5.95. You will put these together just like the front. These will become the back and inside back cover. Put these inbetween the back cover and the part of the case which holds the cd. You will notice these seem a little long, the portions on each side will become the spines.
Last step is to create your inside book. Basically I created 2 layouts each 4.75x9.5. After these were created and attached I then folded them in half. This becomes a book for the inside front cover.
*additional idea is to create a personally designed label for you cd using a sheet of pattern paper from the kit of your choice. This would add the finishing touches.
