Hi, it's been a while, but I have discovered I am not a digiscrap artist. I just love to play with paper, cut, glue, attach, etc..
But now I have seen you have a printables section, I think I can join in the fun again!
I would like to pass on this idea which I picked up in England. It is sort of recycling and I love doing that! It might not be new toyou but who knows.

what a great idea for all those CDs I turn into coasters! This is so neat. I don't paper scrap at all and never wanted to get into it because of the expense but this looks like such a clever self contained program. A little too late for this year for me but I will be saving my munged CDs all year for Christmas 2006! I have already decided to use photos on mine so they will be personalized teeny round scrap layouts for the recipient. Thanks again for pointing to the idea.:)

The nice thing is that as you make a loop at the top they can be hung up everywhere and can stay as nice reminders for a long time (especially if you use photos, which will brighten them up even more).

Daisy Daisy...this is a great idea and I love it that you shared with us! That is just the best thing - make it work for you! I feel a hybrid project coming on....;)

A neat way to use these is as as an version of a bell pull-- you know, the embroidered ones-- use ribbon and lace for the back, then attach 3 or more CD's to it. two feet long is a nice length, but longer or shorter would work, too. Think velvet and lace with Xmas decorated CD's, pastel ribbons and lace for Mother's day/ grandparents/Easter, a dark ribbon with criss-crossed plaid ribbons for Grandpa's den-- the variations are endless! I did small ones of these with a kids group for Mother's day a couple of years ago--pre-digiscrapping--and a matching card to go with them.

You could always design a digital layout and print it on those inkjet CD labels...

When i make coasters i always use those free AOL cd's that come in the mail or that my neice picks up at the store, so if a mess up on a few, no biggie.;)

Could someone take a picture of theirs or tell me if there's a new link? I have a ton of CD's that I don't have the heart to throw away! Thanks!!!
