Hello hybrid gals!
What kind of paper do you use for your hybrid cards?
My photo paper has that print at the back so I can't use that to make cards. I tried printing on cardstock once and the colors weren't as vibrant as when it's printed on photo paper.
Is there some special card paper you use?

I print on all kinds of paper depending on the look I want. I print on photo paper and then attach it to a premade card, Epson Matte photo paper is really good too. Personally I love how digital papers look on bazzill cardstock (not so vibrant, but great texture).

I print on Epson matte photo paper too.
If you want to use the paper with the writing on the backing, you could adhere some colored cardstock to the back, slightly larger so you'll have a nice edge. It will also make you card a little sturdier.

HTH!

There are also double sided Matte photo papers out there. For cards, try to get a heavier weight. :)

Thanks for the tips ladies!

Do photo papers have varying weights too? What's an ideal weight to use?

I have a 61 lb. paper that's ok for cards. It's a little flimsy for the Explosion Box though.

I'm just using a plain lightweight card. The colours aren't as vibrant I know but I haven't investigated matte photo papers yet.
It's also cheaper when you make mistakes (like I did yesterday) and had to resize and print again.

I tried satin photo paper and it makes my pic look dull.

I've had that problem with satin paper! What usually works for me is making sure that my printer is set to the absolute best photo quality possible. This usually does the trick :001_cool:
