guitar hero! OMGOSH!!!! I never ever thought! my dh loves the x box and a few days ago he came home with Guitar Hero. I rarely play and don't get into it at all, but the last few days I have been playing--:blushing: even when dh is at work. :rotfl2:

It is so fun!! AND I totally ROCK!

Amber my family is addicted too.........but we call it a "winter sport" because now that baseball season has started we don't have time to play. During the cold months a younger couple we hang it with come over, we have dinner, wine and then ROCK all night lol. :woohoo:

We don't have anything here that we play (I'm trying to talk him into getting a Wii) but when we had the PS1, we loved to play Golf.
We'd sit back in the evening with a glass of wine and challenge each other. But like you.... I had to practice during the day because he always beats me. My practice just makes it less of a whitewash! :001_unsure:

Well, I can't afford (or manage) to have another addiction, but I have to confess that I'm intrigued by this game. I hear about it in blogs and foruns all the time and the other day I just caught myself looking at the guitar in a store. I've been particularly interested in video games lately, even considering buying a Nintendo DS...

Maybe you girls should invite me over for a test drive, how about that? :biggrin: DH will sure love the excuse to get an XBox, he's been bugging me about it for ages...

for us it works great! I play on the computer, my desk is in the same room as the video games, and he plays the video games. So we are together. Last night I think he was annoyed to have to share the video game with me. LOL!!!

ROTFPMSL!!!!! I had an addiction to a drum version that we picked up when we were living in Japan, gosh it was so much fun and I used to practice so that I could cream everyone else when we played! (that was until someone fried the PS by plugging it in without the adaptar). We have Guitar Hero but it hasn't really taken off in this house - maybe because My hubby and the boys all play the guitar LOL!

you've got to take pix of YOUR guitar Amber! We play it here, and my five year old is awesome at it! I don't have their nimbleness anymore, but after a few "beverages" I can rock on too! ROFL!! It IS addicting! Try the Wii...that is even MORE fun!:lmao:

I am so bummed. SIGH!!! we have the Guitar hero for the xbox 360 and apparently they don't just sell the guitars--you have to buy a whole game! which we already have. UGH!!! so I am going to check out on line--but I really wanted one TODAY!!!

we also have the wii, and we ALL love it from my dh down to my 3 yr old daughter. DH just opted for Guitar Hero for the Xbax--he liked something better with it. I don't know what. LOL!!
