Hi All,
Erika here with a new heritage challenge for you. I thought this week we could pay tribute to our ancestral heroes. Life was very different back in "the olden days" when our ancestors lived. Every time I think my life is hard or stressful, I look at the trials that plagued, my 2nd great grandmother, for instance. People died years ago from the common cold or flu, families lost everything in the great depression and small children had to sacrifice an education to go to work to help put food on the table for their families. These kinds of things were probably common at that time but to me, I look at these people as heroes and their stories inspire me. I guess the ‘ol adage, “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger” comes to mind. So my challenge to you is to tell us all about your ancestral hero by scrapping a layout which pays tribute to them. As always, “heritage” here at scrap artist is considered 1970’s or earlier.
Here is my sample layout: http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/s...2418&nocache=1 (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=72418&nocache=1)
I look forward to seeing your works of art!
