Hey, ladies, as i promised, here is the Brigadeiro Recipe. It´s delicious!

Brigadeiro is a popular, easy-to-make, sweet enjoyed at Brazilian children parties. If there isn´t brigadeiro, it´s not a party! :001_smile:

Ingredients:
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
2-3 Tablespoons Nestle Quick (or other chocolate powder)
2 Tablespoons butter
Chocolate sprinkles
Tiny paper candy cups

Method:
Combine ingredients in a heavy pot and stir constantly over medium heat, bringing to a boil. Continue stirring two mintutes -or until mixture becomes so thick, you can't see the bottom of the pan. Remove from heat and carefully scoop hot mixture out of pot into a separate bowl to cool. Cool completely.

Coat hands with butter and scoop out a teaspoon sized amount into the palm of your hand. Roll into a small ball, roll the ball in sprinkles and let rest in paper cup.

Makes about 40.

*little secret: Brazilians also like to eat Brigadeiro right out of the pot. Let it cool enough so you don' t get scorched, pass around a few teaspoons and dig in!

Here in London I use Carnation condensed milk and cocoa powder, very strong. Make sure you use a very thick condensed milk, otherwise it won't reach the right consistency. And yes, spoons are the way to go in my household, LOL!

These sound so yummy - but messy to make! :001_tongue:
And we've got all the ingredients here in Australia as well. So that is really cool.

If you decided to roll it it's messy indeed, LOL. But we never get to this stage around here, so it's a pretty easy job.

Another tip: use a non-stick pan. It's a lot easier to clean it afterwards.
