Hi All! This week’s heritage challenge is called “Uncanny Ancestors”. The challenge is to do a layout showing photos of your ancestors, which bear an uncanny resemblance to one another. It can be you who looks much like or has very similar traits of an ancestor, or it can be two ancestors that look very much alike. For instance, did you get your high cheekbones from your Indian ancestry, did you get your red hair from your Irish ancestors…etc, etc.
Here is my sample layout showing how much my third great grandfather’s descendants look almost identical to him and to one another.
Don’t forget to include 50% Scrap Artist goodies on your layout so that your LO qualifies for our March Madness contest and post a link here so your fellow scrappers can admire your art work.:drool5:
Have fun!

My first thought is to do the generations going back from my daughter. There is no denying her heritage. Just glad I've got all the photos to do it.

I finally finished mine. I'm always told just how much like her daddy, my little girl is. Well it goes a whole lot deeper than that.

Took me forever but here it is; had an accident this weekend, cut my hand and got a few stitches but I was determined to persevere. :001_unsure:
Besides this was such a great challenge, couldn't pass it up. TFL!

Now that is dedication and what I would call, suffering for your art LOL!
I left you a comment on your layout, it's fabulous! Can't believe you did all that with a stiched up hand. You poor thing. I hope you make a speedy recovery!

Oh no. How's your hand now? That sounds painful. I think you need lots and lots of scrapbook therapy.
Can be a LO with a picture of my father and my son, both with 1 year old?

Hi Lea,
Because heritage at scrap artist is considered 1970's or earlier, at least one of the two pictures you use should be from the 1970's or before.
Hope that helps :)
