Mar 4 - 10 Date Night

Hi All,

Erika (AKA dancingscrapper) here once again for Two-Fer Tuesday.

This week’s heritage challenge is to scrap a page of one of your ancestors dressed up for a date night. It can be a prom or other school dance or just a night out on the town with a significant other. I felt inspired to do a layout of my mother on her prom night. I love to think about what she was like as a teenager. The sixties weren’t really that long ago but such a different time. Keep in mind, the heritage challenges here at SA can be 1970’s or earlier. Also, try to include some journaling about what was going on in the world during the approximate time the picture was taken.

i wish i could participate in this :( unfortunatly my home burnt down in september and i don't have any heritage pics left. I am waiting on family to gather some up again and get copies but who knows when that will be.

Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry about your house, that's awful! I hope that physically at least you and your family were unharmed. I hope you are able to get some pictures from your family.
