This week's altered collage challenge is for you to create a layout, ATC, hybrid project, (whatever your heart desires) with the subject of who the "king" in your life is....and more specifically, why...
Here is a link to my sister' Erika's recent layout which inspired me to come up with this challenge:

What I loved about this layout wasn't just that she crowned our grandfather king and used meaningful elements (like the measuring tape to measure the value of the man...symbolic!) in a pretty collage, but what she actually SAID in her journaling is what impressed me and made the layout valid in every way.
People may think "why do we bother to create layouts in this altered style since it really isn't about REALITY, per se"...however, it is about the reflection of reality in its dreamy, whimsical wonderfully altered state that does so perfectly reflect our sub-conscious and our deepest feelings about our realities the very best....at least, that is, if you are anything like me!
So, if this challenge grabs you at all, please post about who it is in your life takes on that KING position and why....illustrate it in the altered/collage style, and post in our altered/collage gallery, leaving us a link here in this thread to let us know it is time to go have a look and leave you praise!
