I love ATC's! I love digitally created ones, as well as the charm of a real life paper and hand embellished ones! Sometimes I think that the real life craft world may have a better thing with their hand embellished ones, but then I think about the features we have that are impossible in their world! One of those features to be sure, is live animation!
Here is my example:

Here is a tutorial for PSCS2 users created by my friend Becky Troxel:

Google for more tuts for more programs, they are out there!
Please post in this forum with your samples! I can't wait to see! :)
Here is mine. What a terrific idea, I had no idea that I could do animation. This could be better better but after fiddling for hours I wanted to see if it actually worked. And it does. Great challenge and thanks for helping me learn a bit more for my creative juices.

How do I get a file over 150 Kb to upload? I know others did it, but I can't seem to.
Thanks!

Jean, I wish I knew what to tell you. Is your file 72 dpi? 150 kb should not be too big. I bet there is something wrong temporarily with the gallery because my sister had the same problem uploading a layout recently...it took her all day to get it to work.
I'm thinking try again later. Don't give up because I'm dying to see it. I will give this some thought in the meantime.
Sorry for the inconvenience! :(

Christine, my file is 398 Kb which well exceeds my limit of 150, but your file is much bigger and the one by smwhite is nearly as big as mine. What I don't understand is how you two uploaded the big files.
I also tried greater compression, but couldn't get it under 150 even then (I'm starting with 4 images at 72 dpi and only 500 pixels in height).

now that I think about it, it did take me two times to get it to work....
You know, I'm going to go post a question about this to the tech department here at SA and see if anybody else has an idea...because it sounds to me like you should be able to upload easily, but something is wrong obviously.
I hope there is somebody around tonight to help us!

 Never mind Christine! I went back and made my images only 300 tall and got a gif that was easily small enough. This isn't any big deal, but it was fun to try an animation. So, here is mine:

Yippee!
We should do more animated challenges, now...hopefully more will give this a try and not shy away from it...it is just too fun! :001_tongue:
