What paper should I use to print my printables? just regular printing paper or white card stock, or what? I don't have a project in mind right now, but I was wondering what you use.

I've generally used white cardstock - I got a ream at Sam's really cheap a while back and it's been great for printables. I would like to find a lighter weight paper too though - sometimes cardstock is just a little too heavy.

I think Lisa is right on. A nice medium weight white cardstock works beautifully, I usually stay away from textured paper, but it might be kind of cool for the solids!?! Let us know what you end up doing! ;)

I've actually used all the above mentioned, and I would say it really depends on the project that you are doing. I've had the most success with, and what I use most often is a heavy cardstock (the one I use is 110lb) I've used a sheet of white copy paper we i've needed a little more "give" like altering a round canister, and I have printed out on textured scrapbooking paper...didn't really care for the results on this. I would say it really is just what your preference is.

I print on textured Artist Paper and it looks amazing!! But it depends on what I am doing. If I am making a card, the textured paper works beautifully, but If I am altering or covering something, I would use a thinner paper that bends nicely. But I think that printing on texture makes my papers look even better! :)

Michelle..where do you get your paper that you print on from? What type would you suggest..I've never tried any but have heard it makes a world of difference.
