This week we are creating pages with the theme of Shabby, Vintage, dirty, whites! Frequently, in the artsy world of altered/collage arts, color becomes a theme for group projects such as fat books, (glue books) circle journals, ATC swaps, etc. Take a look at these lovely in real life color themed montages:
http://www.alteredartobsession.com/art_gallery/main.php/v/collaborations/wall-hangings/
I hope you are inspired by what you see there, I was!
I will be back in a moment to share with you the layout I created!
If you want to play this week, remember these three things...
Create a piece in the altered/collage style (if you are unfamiliar with this, check out our altered/collage gallery and forums for past examples)
Shabby white is your theme
Sky is the limit subject and format wise, but whatever you create, please post in the altered/collage gallery and post a link here in this thread so we can have a look!
HAVE FUN!!!! :) :) :)

Christine,
I love this challenge! The website is very inspiring and the LOs you and Robyn have done wonderful and quite helpful. Somehow when I had seen these things I knew exactly what I wanted to do. Hope it works for this challenge:

love the entries this week... great work everyone.
i am stuck here in adelaide till monday, without my computer... damn...
but i did start a LO before i left... and all i can do from here is think about it!!
Kevin's hand is doing very well, they have saved everything and did lots of poking and prodding today, and are happy with things. but it is very painful tonight, first time without bandages for 3 weeks. they have it in a splint thing now, got to come back here in another three weeks time... start therapy then. they are very concerned about his middle finger. but he was too sore and feeling ill to fly home so i convinced him to stay for a couple more days and we will go home on Monday.
so that is a bit of relief, but still got a long way to go i can tell you...
i will get this LO complete, but it is going to be late,, sorry.
hate not having my computer!!!

Here's my take for the challenge... this was a fun exercise! I don't think I would have tried a white monochrome without an exercise like this!

Thanks for the challenge! It was fun deciding what to use - white is not normally my thing.

Everyone's examples are just beautiful! I am so enjoying all the white in the altered gallery this week!
Sue, hope you get home safe and back to your computer in time to join us. Remember, you don't have to get it done by a deadline, just share when you can! So sorry to hear your husband's hand is still paining him so, but it is great he is mending! :)
Now this was interesting. I think I will practice and do some one colour layouts in the future.

I was just gonna ask Christine if I could be on her CT because I when I looked in the shop at her stuff, I loved every single thing!!!! but I couldn't wait until I had the time to do her designs justice, so I just bought everything!!! LOL...maybe not every single thing, but i did try to use a bunch of your stuff, Fiddlette!!!!
enjoy this book cover that I'm about to print out!
