I had a pretty laidback weekend... MIL and SIL took my 3 kids to Legoland on Sunday. So DH and I spent the afternoon watching "300" on DVD and just being lazy. It's been a while since we've been able to be lazy without any of the kids wanting something. :) I enjoyed the silence at home, with the kids being away. But I'm happy to get back the noise today too. ;)
How about you - how was your weekend? :)

Glad you had a relaxing weekend! Those are my favorite kind! DH and I went to Kansas City for a weekend without the kiddos for our joint birthdays. It was so nice to enjoy dinner, but we caught ourselves stuffing down the food a few times even though there was no hurry and no one was crying! LOL!

It was such a sad weekend for us. We had some of our best friends move to Chicago on Sunday. A bunch of us went swimming at their house, and then had to say goodbye. To see the kids crying about killed me. We bought the girls webcams so they can see each other frequently. Now, if I can just figure out how to use the darn thing (lol).
I'm glad you guys had a fun weekend though.

Awww...goodbyes are never an easy thing. :(
Webcams are awesome though. We do it a lot with my parents who are in the Philippines. It helps a lot to keep their bond with my kids. We use Skype for it. Don't know about installing the webcams though - DH handled all that. ;)

Our weekend was spent the way so many of them are anymore. Running up I-95 to visit my daughter and her family. Even though its a two-hour trip we try to get up to see our granddaughter nearly every weekend. She's growing so fast, if we go longer than ten days or so we find we've missed something. She is such a joy!
We watched 300 on DVD too! YUMMY! ROFL! If you can get past the bloody violence, this was a feast for the eyes ladies! Great flick, really.
We celebrated my daughter's 8th birthday Saturday night with a few of her little friends sleeping over. Sunday we just re-cooperated from the bash and ate brie, enjoyed some Chardonnay and played Rummy-O while the kids watched "Highschool Musical" for the 15th time. That's it!
