Hey everyone! Amy Hutchinson here, and I was so thrilled to be asked to be the guest hybrid artist here at ScrapArtist this month! I completely enjoyed my projects, and I thought I would share a little more about my layout, Love Is Magic, that can be found here (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=46078&cat=500&ppuser=9808)

Most of this layout is digital. I designed the base of it in Photoshop. I always like to know how it's going to look before I start gluing things down. That's just the digi gal in me! I blended together some papers from Lauren Reid's new Create Wings (http://www.scrapartist.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1100) papers, and added some of the Two Sisters' Beauty Marks (http://www.scrapartist.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=1065) (how FABULOUS are these??). I arranged my photos, then put on a few of Kim's Scribble Stitches (http://www.scrapartist.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=865). The stitch on the right hand side overlapped the photo, so I just printed out that photo with the part of the stitch already on it, and the other with the date stamp. One huge advantage to planning out a layout first!
After everything was printed, I added my paper supplies. I loved this bird paper from Scenic Route, so I tore off a bit to go behind the photos. I added a cardstock flower, some sparkly rhinestones, and finished off the title with the Thickers alpha. I LOVE dimensional titles!! A couple rubons finished the look I was going for.
I was thinking of giving this to my brother and soon-to-be-sister-in-law, but I like how it turned out so much that I may keep it instead! What do you think?
Thanks for letting me share!
