Hi there,

I assume that you want to become a designer???

There is soooo much talent in the digi world. To me {not that I am an expert LOL!} its all about selling your self & your putting your products out there for all to see.

Keep a lookout for forums/stores asking for new designers. Make a freebie or two and share on your blog perhaps?

All the best

Ditto what Nisha said ...

From what I've seen, they usually start out giving out freebies to see if there is any interest in their designs. If response is good, they either start selling on their own or sell at a store.

But even before going there, I think you really really have to KNOW and be proficient in your program to become a good designer!

Good luck!

How people receive your freebies isn't always a great indicator of how well your designs will sell as there are many people that just download freebies but never buy.
Watch out for store calls and apply. If you don't make it into a store ask for constructive feedback from the store owner on what exactly they are looking for in a designer.
Every designer will tell you that they are evolving and growing in their designing as they keep at it.
Don't go into selling designs if you're hoping to make a lot of money. It's one of the lowest paying jobs (per hour of time spent on the computer) that I know of. But if you love to design and you find satisfaction and enjoyment in it, then go for it. You'll be doing something that you love and if all goes well .. making a little money as well.

Ditto on what's just said.

You have to be prepared to sell youself as a designer if you want to be successfull. And be dedicated to your work with your designs. I'm just stopping to sell at one store because I don't have the time, nor the sparks to make it as a desinger anymore.
