Twofer #1: In The Good Ol' Summertime!

Welcome back to our WEEKLY challenges ... YAY!!!!!

I'm in Texas and it's definitely summertime here! I'm loving the warm (HOT!) weather already! So I thought it would be fun to dig through my heritage layouts and post some that scream "SUMMER!" to me. I'm not going to give any rules except that the pictures need to be from summertime and they should be from the 1970's or before. (Also, I realize that some of you on the other side of the world have cold weather in Summer so please use those summer pictures!) The layout you create should really give you the feeling of summer.

Hey hey hey .... we have warm and hot weather in our Summer LOL we just don't have Summer in June .... our Summer is at Christmas ;)

I might have to go raid mums photo albums again. :)

Oh thanks Helen! See ... I am challenged. So this time of year is Winter for you? Hmmmm... So I guess then you will need to pull out the heritage SUMMER photos! Sorry for my ignorance. LOL!

Robyn I'm so happy to have the heritage challenge back! Especially weekly. The summertime theme is fun, but mine goes back a long way and may look a little less like summer now than then, but I love the photo and was delighted to get to scrap it:

Hi... It's good to have weekly heritage challenges back. I have been waiting for this :)

As I am living in a small island in the Indian Ocean we never have different seasons in my country. Throughout the year the whether we have is quite same:(
But on the other hand we are enjoying the lovely beaches and the cold mountains forever :) So Robyn, can I scrap some old beach photos ?

I couldn't resist this challenge - I had an old picture of me that I had scrapped before but wanted to re-scrap - it's very summery! :)
Thanks for the inspiration! I hope to do more of these weekly challenges - I have BOXES of slides from the 60's and 70's that I am scanning and want to scrap!
