Hi all you fabulous artists!

I am from MO and curious if anyone else is doing the Artist's Way currently? I have only started and I am getting into week 2. I would love to talk with some other artist's on the journey! Looking forward to seeing you around here!

Thanks!

Tina

Hi there.
I don't think I know what you mean by 'The Artists Way'. :dontknow: (I know - my brain is pretty slow some days). Would you be able to explain? Sounds really interesting.

I know Nancie led a discussion on it a while back and I think there's talk of it starting up again - it really is a great book and process!

Sue,

It's a book/process to work through issues blocking your creativity. Here's what I pulled off of Amazon:

With the basic principle that creative expression is the natural direction of life, Julia Cameron and Mark Bryan lead you through a comprehensive twelve-week program to recover your creativity from a variety of blocks, including limiting beliefs, fear, self-sabotage, jealousy, guilt, addictions, and other inhibiting forces, replacing them with artistic confidence and productivity.

The excercises alone are worth the cost of the book and I am feeling freed up to be more creative and who I was designed to be...I would just like to connect with other gals who are working or worked the process. I saw an Artist's Way thread here and thought there would be some interest.

Cool. Thanks for answering my question. It sounds like something I think I should have in my library.

I read through the past exercises (a while ago) and thought that the process sounded quite interesting... hope it does get started up again!! I think it would be a great learning experience!

its a very thought provoking process. I am just coming to the end of week 2 also. Some girls over at www.digitalartquirks.com (http://www.digitalartquirks.com) are a week ahead of me and have some interesting threads going if you want to check them out.
