I have purchased some paper templates and they have flowers and different designs. My thing is that I don't know how to use these. I don't know how to add the different colors. Is there a tutorial somewhere? I use Adobe PS 7.0.

Hi Trace! What templates were they? Did you buy them here in the shop or somewhere else? It might make it easier to answer if we know specifically what templates you have there. :)

Usually if I use a template with a certain embellishment already in it, unless that embellishment really fits right into my page and I love it anyway, I just remove it and use something else. If on your template there is a flower, does not necessarily mean that you have to use that specific flower or even a flower at all.

Well here is one of them, this one is actually an embellishment. I purchased it somewhere else. I just want to be able to make it more that one color.

If you want it in different colors, like let's say flower red and stem green, I'd just select the item, create a new layer on top of it and paint in the desired colors with a brush of my choice within the selection. Then you can additionally apply some layer styles or filteres, whatever you want.
If you want the item in one color you could either paint again, use a color overlay, fill the selection with a certain color. There are loads of possibilities.
