View Full Version : Quick way to "lower the opacity"

OK - I'm SUPER excited about the next few weeks of tips coming up! I had the chance to attend the "Photoshop CS2 Power Tour" last week in Salt Lake, and I learned some really cool and fun new tricks! :)

Lets start with this one... it's so "wow" and kind of a little bit "how did I avoid stumbling onto this accidentally" when you see it in action!

In your layout. Select any layer in the layers palette. Now press a number, like oh say "5" if you would like that layer to be at "50%" opacity! Woila! 1 will create a 10% opacity, 2 a 20% opacity, etc. and for 100% opacity press 0.

oh wow thats cool, and even better it works in PS 7 too! yay for me!

ROFL .. My DS found this for me ages ago!! It took me a while to realize how he was doing it but then I realized he could only reach the numbers on the keypad and put 2 and 2 together LOL!!!
