Phew, after almost two weeks, we will be house-guest free tonight! My parents have been visiting, and as much as I love to have them here, it's still going to be great to have the house to ourselves again :) So, how about you guys, have any house guest horror stories for us? Or maybe some good stories?

Oh boy do I have horror stories with house guests! Most of whom will NEVER and boy do I mean never be returning for a visit!
But I do like having guests like my parents, who stayed with us for 3 months when my 2nd DD was born. Huge help, with lots of things, it was great to spend time with them not rushing round doing all the touristy things but to actually just spend time together. They of course doted on #1 and #2 when she arrived and gave me some much needed breathing space.
And if three months sounds like a heck of a long time to have someone else even parents living in your house, well they spent days inside with us but went out to their house bus evenings, giving them and us time out!
I asked DD#1 where Nana was one day and she came out with Nana Bus! Meaning Nana is in the bus (she was only 14 months old at the time and only using single words!) So my Mum has been Nana Bus ever since!

That's so cute! Nana Bus :) And, it sounds like a great way to take the house-guest pressure off too - maybe I should look into one of those LOL :)

No horrible stories to share, but my mother-in-law did just stay here this past weekend. It was a little tough because DH has been moving to the guest room part way through the night when I need more space with my big baby belly! Two whole nights in the same bed together with the cat too really stretched our limits - lol

I live quite a distance from my family and friends so we rarely have houseguests. When we do, it's usually pretty fun. I especially like it when nieces & nephews stay over - I miss the little kiddos. With that said, it's always nice having the peace and quiet when they leave.
I'm starting to stress a little because about half of my hockey team will be staying with us next weekend and I feel like I need to do so much to prepare!

Wow! Half a hockey team! That sounds like quite a house full :) I bet it will be fun though! And, I definitely agree about kids visiting - my brother and his wife and little girl are coming in a few weeks too and I'm really excited to play with her :)
