Here is a quick tutorial, with the edging mask (for those of you who didn't get the kit).
Let me know how it works!
The tutorials themselves are in Adobe Acrobat (pdf) format and the accompanying zip file contains some freebies to help you with the tutorial.

After I do the part where it says to Load Selection, New...it says "No Pixels were selected!" What am I doing wrong? I am VERY new at CS2 and don't even know where to go from there! Thanks!

Make sure you are in the new channel when you load selection...

thanks for the tutorial Nancie!
OK...this didn't work for me either. When I'm in the new channel and load selection, it loads the entire page not the scalloped edge. I just couldn't get this working with this method??
The way I finally did this was to highlight the layer with the scalloped edge, chooses Select/Color Range and click on the white portion, then hit Delete. Now with the scalloped edge on a layer beneath my paper, right click and choose clipping mask. Now you have your edge.
Thanks so much for the scalloped edge..I love it. I hope it's OK to save this as a shape for quick future use.

Pat... what version are you using?
I'll give it a shot and see if I can point you in the right direction.
I'm using PSCS2. It worked my way but I would like to learn new ways of doing things! Thanks for your help. :)
