This is a thread to discuss the Heritage Challenge posted at the HUB (http://scrapartist.typepad.com/the_hub/2007/03/heritage_altere.html) (the Scrap Artist team blog) on March 12, 2007. Here is the post:

This month, we are moving away from a theme and doing a technique. It is a classic technique that has been used by genealogists for as long as genealogists have been around! LOL! The technique this month is:

"FAMILY TREE CHARTS AND GRAPHS"

I know you're thinking that this sounds terribly boring. My favorite part of heritage scrapping is telling the story of the people. However, family tree graphs and charts do serve many purposes. They are wonderful pages to include at the front of heritage albums. And, they are a great quick-glance reference. If you can include photos in your charts, they become even more interesting!

Here is a link to my sample layout: 4 Generations (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=36161&cat=585)

What a great challenge. This is one that I want to participate in. Thank you for sharing your layout and the one from mmbstaley. I didn't think about creating a layout with just photos and info that I have. Thank you for the quickpage! You are making it so easy that I can't resist!

O, I still miss the weekly heritage layout :( , but be very happy with this one. Your kit is absolutly great for this month challenge Robyn. So here are my roots, at least a part of it, because I have A Hole in my Soul (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=36190&cat=585).

Thank you so much for hosting.

Hi

Here is the link http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=36834&cat=500&ppuser=8775 again, but it is still saying IMAGE WAITING FOR APPROVAL

I hoped that would have been replaced by the image by now. Should I try to repost?

Not ideal, I know, but I have it also posted on my blog www.welcometomyworldjanmary@blogspot.com (http://www.scrapartist.com/scrapforums/www.welcometomyworldjanmary@blogspot.com) alsong with a number of other heritage layouts. I must check out all these great heritage challenges and see where I could post them.

Thanks for your help,

That is weird. Uploads show up immediately. Send a quick note to michelle at scrapartist dot com and ask her if she could help you with the upload problem.

But for now, I will post your gorgeous layout right here for everyone to see! I love all of the pictures!

Here is my contribution, I took a slightly different direction. But as there are more boys than girls in our family, this is a nice family tree line to have.
