Dumb Question about Brushes

Hi! I'm totally a newbie to all this. I've downloaded some brushes from the "Freebies" -- just to see if I can figure them out, and, well, I can't. When I try to load them in my Photoshop 7, I get a message that says they are incompatible. BTW, they are the Wood/Grunge Brushes from Michelle-Jelly. What am I doing wrong?

A happy "shout-out" to Michelley-Jelly, who gave me a super quick and clear answer. My PS7 isn't as uber-cool as CS2 -- Waaah! So I have to use the brushes in png format.

Yep - PS7 has its weaknesses but is pretty cool in most respects. However, the seller for me was CS's text on a path. And CS2 has WYSIWYG font previews. Gotta have that!! LOL! Welcome to the world of digiscrapping!

I agree Robyn, the cheeky people at photoshop come up with cooool stuff & we HAVE to upgrade ...
