I use PSE2
To have my text fill the shape of a half circle.... First I used my custom shape, the circle, and made the circle the size I wanted. I put my circle shape layer behind the pink paper layer. Half of the circle shape is visible now. Fill your circle with a contrasting color then what your text will be. I put my text tool at the top of the half circle and start typing. Every time I got to the edge of the shape I hit Enter to make a new line.
If the last word in any particular line didn't come to the edge of the circle, I put more spaces between the words in that line. KWIM? When I was done I hid the shape that was under the text.
