Photoshop Elements 5.0 -please help!

I have downloaded some cool fonts and a few ribbons that are not seperate pieces so when I add them in go in as one. How do I sepperate them? I know that it sounds simple but I have only made 4 pages.:confused:

with the ribbons, you would open the file up in PhotoShopElements, and then, with your retangle marquee tool (it looks kind of like a stitched square on the tool palette - and in my software, is 5th down from the top) draw a selection around the ribbon you want to use. Now you can either drag this into your layout, or copy and paste it into your layout.
