Still trying to learn a few new and different things with the Adobe Bridge. Now I know as scrapbookers, we like things labeled and easy to find. Adobe Bridge has a feature that allows you to label files with colors. When you are in the bridge, right hand click and go down to label... you can then label that file a certain color.
Then when you go to the top right hand corner of the Adobe Bridge - there's a word (it probably says "Unfiltered") and a down-arrow next to it. Click on the downarrow and then go down to "Show Blue Label" or whatever color you would like to sort by.
Now, this isn't going to replace ACDSee or anything... but it's a nice feature to know is there for sorting and labeling! :)

Hi, Ange!
I just wrote a post about Adobe Bridge im my (and my friend's) blog - and Bridge is VERY similar to ACDSee! I guess you probably do not understand portuguese but maybe my images could help you to figure out how to catalog your kits using the Bridge. Check it out (http://scrapblog.com.br/blog/2007/12/03/usando-o-adobe-bridge/)!!!
HTH!!:)
Ana.
thanks ladies, I'm definitely going to check these out. anything to help organize in bridge is awesome. I'm sure you've tried the find command, but if the designer didn't name the element what you're looking for...:001_tongue:
edited to add: ok, i just checked your blog Ana, and even though I don't understand Portugese, I managed to understand a bit of what you were saying. Just to clarify: do you set up the "preview" to the kit with a keyword, or assign a keyword to each element?

Sorry I did not see your question before, Kim!!
Let me try to explain (you know, I'm not very good at speaking English)!!!
Open the Bridge using the menu File / Browse... in Photoshop, here is the workspace:
http://scrapblog.com.br/blog/wp-content/uploads/2007/11/bridge1p.jpg
1) you can drag your favorites folders here
2) file preview
3) you can add keywords and serch yous files here
4) thumbnails
5) costumization of the workspace
Insert keyword according to this image:

Now you have to catalog the kit preview by checking the appropriate keywords:

After you catalog all your kits (and it is not too hard, seriously!!!) you can easily find anything you nedd. In this example I'm looking for doodles:

Here are my results! I just need to go to "Reveal in Bridge" to open the file folder and choose the element I want to use!!!

I hope that helps!
:tongue::tongue::tongue:
