If you have been using PS or even PSE for a bit now, you have likely picked up some shortcuts along the way... you know those fancy little keys that save you from having to to up to the pull down menus! (Like Control -Z for undo!)
So, here's two that I picked up in a Photoshop Class I took and I have used them a lot... yet I don't see them posted about much.
The shortcuts are ALT-DELETE and CTRL-DELETE.
Alt-Delete will "fill" your layer - or your selection with the current foreground color.
Ctrl-Delete will "fill" your layer -or your selection with the current background color.
I have used these shortcuts many times and they aren't posted about a lot. So next time you are ready to make some "virtual cardstock" or you need to fill something... try Alt-Delete or Ctrl-Delete!
