I hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas yesterday!

This week, we are going to focus on holidays and celebrations of the past. Both of my examples are Christmas-related, but yours don't need to be. The only rule is that the pictures need to be from the 1970's and before (well ... if you are a child of the 80's and want to scrap a picture from your childhood, that would be ok, too!).

Please post a link in this forum so we can see what you create!

Here are my examples: Ugly Santa (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=29899&cat=500&ppuser=1707) and Christmas 1970 (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=4420&cat=500&perpage=24&ppuser=1707)

I did this a while back when the Apprentice Competition was going on and it fits with this challenge.

I was going through some slides and found this one of my mum and I at the beach. I really love it.
daydreaming (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=29926&cat=585) at the beach. We always went on an 8 hour car drive every boxing day for holidays at the beach in sydney. Please take note of my new found brilliance in linking to it.

Helen - I love that layout so much!

And Panthergirl - love that you figured out the linking thing. You ARE brilliant! And your layout is brilliant as well!

I was born 01/25/1970 and I choose solutions from Robyn '(well ... if you are a child of the 80's and want to scrap a picture from your childhood, that would be ok, too!).'

sorry for bad english.

I did this page for a 2peas challenge, but I liked it so much I wanted to use it again.
As a child of the '40's my pictures go further back! Anyway here it is:
