Hello, I bought them and thought from layouts in the gallery they are wonderful.
But everybody has them colored somehow. Mine are black and stay black or negativ white, nothing else, please tell me the secret.
I have paint shop pro, but hopefully if I get the idea I can transwork it from a photoshop tip as well.
Thank you for responses, Mara

Hi Mara!

In photoshop, they make a brushes from the doodles and the stamp it the color they want. Since in PSP, we cannot use a large brush, this method is not available for us.

In PSP, I find the easiest method is to use the 'color replacer' tool to change the color of the doodles or any .png.

You can also try to color your doodles. See the thread:

http://www.scrapartist.com/scrapforums/showthread.php?t=824

the colors of the .png change also when you play with the opacity and blend mode in the layer palette.

There are a couple of things you can do. Like Zazou said, sometimes the brushes in the file won't show in psp because of different sizing limits. It is likely that you also got the png files and that is what you are using? You can resize each png file to less than 500x500 pixels and make it into a brush set for psp. The process is pretty simple. Then once you have a new psp version of the brushes made, it is simply a matter of putting the color you want in your foreground palette and then stamping away. :)

This might help get you started.

Thank you to both of you Ladies, for your quick friendly responding. I read all the links, and started the first thing (color replacer) and that did already work that good, that I can sleep well tonight (it worked in the first step, I am so lucky).
Now I will try the rest which takes me more time, because of the difficulties of the language.
Thank you again, you saved my nightsleeping.

I find the easiest way and the most versatile way is to use a clipping mask. You open the pgn of the brush and drag it onto your pallete, then make a new layer above it and using the rectangle tool with whatever color you choose, draw a large rectangle. It should cover most of your pallette. Then you press Ctr + Alt + G. This will 'cut' your rectangle into the shape of the brush below.
You can also use a 'paper' instead of the rectangle tool. You drag your brush onto your pallette, then drag a paper so it's covering it. Press Ctr + Alt +G and it will cut the paper into the shape of your brush!!
