This week, don't even think about opening those "traditional" heritage kits. No browns, creams or muted tones allowed! Break out the kits with lots of color ... VIVID, bright color!! Then grab a heritage picture or two (from the 1970's or before) and get to scrapping.

Our ancestors did not lead colorless lives so why do we scrap them in such a way?! Have fun with this one. I hope to have to wear my sunglasses when I visit the gallery!

Here's my example: Wayne and his sisters (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=27657&cat=500&ppuser=1707)

I know a lot of people have seen it already and I did this for another challenge (the glitter one), but I haven't done a LO for this week yet, so I thought I'd post it again for now. It just fits so well with this challenge, LOL.

Iam currently out of town (in Arkansas) but just popping my head in to check on the heritage gallery.

Newlyweds (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=27933&nocache=1) is my contribution. This was a fabulous challenge for me.

Also I feel like the layout could go a little farther, but I've run out of ideas for it. PLEASE CC!

lilaclady, great photo, what part of wa are you from. i am in south austr almost at the wa border...

oh i hope it is not like this on christmas day. today it is 44 deg celcius which is over 111 in american temp. it is disgusting, windy and foul. we got up at 3am and left Whyalla, five hours drive away where we have spent a couple days doing christmas shopping. we were home by 9am thank goodness, it is a terrible day. Hubbie gone out to the farm it will be ten deg worse out there.

gotta go and look for that next challenge.
