I found this tip at photoshopninja.com (yeah, isn't that a cool name... lol!), and I thought it was kind of cool so I'm sharing it here:
It's about working with multiple layers of text. Sometimes you want to edit them, and change them all to have the same attributes (size, color, etc.). Here's a quick way you can do that.
First link up all the layers that you are going to want to change. Next, select those layers in the layers palette (hold down the control key while selecting them to get more than one layer selected at a time). Now, hold down the shift key while you change the text attributes up above. All your other linked layers will take on those same attributes as well. (Don't release the shift key until you are done changing the text attributes though!) The exception to releasing the shift key is if you are changing color. When the color picker comes up you 'll have to relase the shift key but it should still change the colors of all layers once you've chosen a new color.
I thought that was a cool little tip! I hope it helps some of you out as well! Have a great week!
***Edited to Add... Thanks to Nevermore who pointed out that this tip also works without linking the layers. Just selecting them together should work! :)
