I can't believe it's Wednesday already! Time for another photography challenge. I've really been trying to think of challenges that will not only work for people using dslr, but point and shoot as well. I'd love to hear feedback on challenges you'd like to see or ideas you have making this concept easier for all.
What I love about photography and enjoy so much in professional photography that I've seen, is the mystery. Sometimes in scrapbooking we tend to just lay it all out there. We have the picture and tell the story and it's all pretty obvious. I was discussing this with our very own Andrea (amtad) the other day and we started talking about the creative crop and bringing a little mystery into the photo so that perhaps there is more of a story to tell through journaling. So.....
{Photography Challenge #4} Creative Cropping!
Share a picture that has a little mystery. Maybe it's the curve of your child's cheek, maybe it's a book spine that tells your favorite story. If you want to do a layout using it, that would be great, but not necessary! If you use in specific principles in the quest for this, please share your techniques with us. I can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Here is a link for you with some things that were meant for something else, but I thought some of the points very interesting and perhaps useful! Interesting Things To Think About (http://www.pporegon.com/downloads/12-print-elements.pdf#search='photography%20creative%20crop ping')
I've included a link to my layout for this challenge. Beauty In A Mystery (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=963&cat=521)
