I've seen several tutorials on the web for whitening teeth, but I ran across this one the other day and I liked it because it presents several different methods. If one of these methods isn't working for your particular photo, you can follow some of the other recommendations at the end and find one that does work for you.

I think the thing to avoid when whitening teeth (or removing yellow) is to not take it "too far"... nothing looks more unnatural than "glowing white teeth". Leave just a slight, slight hint of the yellow in them, if your results aren't looking natural.
The same thing goes with wrinkle removal, etc. The real key to making any of these photo enhancing methods work correctly is to not take the trick "too far". :)
