Using a premade template

I am using PSE 3 and wondered how to use the premade templates that divide the page up into shapes. Is there a simple way to select different papers and photos so that they automatically crop to the various shapes on my template? Melia

I think this may work for what you are trying to do:

Simply place the template in a layer over the paper you wish to cut. Then use the magic wand in your program to select the black area. Then switch to your paper layer and hit copy. Paste it into a new layer.
