I know I am a day late in posting this. I sent all 4 of my kids back to school yesterday and it was a hectic day to put it mildly! So I thought a fun heritage challenge this week would be to scrap heritage school pictures. However, I haven't even had time to create anything new because of the whole back to school hoopla at my house! LOL! So ... I'm going to have to refer to some of my older layouts. Here are a couple of layouts:

Graduation 1938 (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=13519) and Graduation 1938 (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=5255)

LOL!!! I didn't even realize these two layouts had the same title until now. These are both of my grandfathers at graduation and it looks like they graduated high school the same year!

Here is another school-related layout but not quite heritage. It is me from 1981: 5th Grade (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=6453&cat=590)

I know this one may be difficult for some of you with limited heritage pictures so for this week only, I'll take pictures from the 1980's as well if you want to scrap some of your own school photos.

Have fun and I promise a brand new layout next week when things settle down around my house!!

Wow...what an amazing coincidence. Most of my heritage photos are in storage right now (we moved recently). But one of the few pictures that I have is my grandparent's school picture from 1910. Now...if I can just find some time to scrap!

However, you know how you do a LO and are really pleased and happy with it?? Well this one of mine is NOT one of them. I just don't like it at all. any CC would be appreciated. I think perhaps i should have done a double page and put reunion photos on there instead of with the other ones?? I dunno. I just are not happy with it at all.

thanks again robyn.

Sorry I have not been around to comment. Back to school has me running around like a crazy person! I love the layouts you have all posted! Keep them coming! There's still today and tomorrow to post!

As always...I barely made the deadline! Had a house full of girl scouts this weekend, but I was able to put this together this evening.

I tried to find some additional information about this school, but it was in the tiny town of Cartwright, KY and there was nothing on the internet. I don't even think there is a school there anymore. But, it is where both my grandparents went to school as children.

Due to many reasons I couldn’t participate in the heritage challenge for several weeks. Here I am sending my layout for this week’s challenge at the last moment.
