Hi everyone,
This is the last week I'll be filling in for Jenn and then our fearless Photo Challenge leader will be back.
This week I tried a technique that's called framing. It's when you use objects in the picture that help to better set focus (or provide a frame of reference) to your subject.
Here's mine for this week. Now there are alot of things in this picture that are not great (like the shutter speed and focus - since my targets are always moving I should learn to get this right but I still don't know how to use my camera correctly in situation where I just want to take a quick shot.. so this was probably on auto - and the camera thought I wanted to focus on the tunnel and that I didn't want to get details of my fast-crawling son)... but what I do like is how the tunnel frames my cutie patootie seeing the tunnel for the first time!

Here are some more examples of framing (not by me!! lol!) from Morguefile's Lesson 1 (http://morguefile.com/archive/classroom.php?lesson=1) that Kim suggested...(copyright Jodie Coston 2004-2005)
