View Full Version : Tip for 8/2 - are you seeing "crosshairs"?

I know, it's really the 3rd! :o It just took us a little time to get this forum set up over here... so really next week this will be a TUESDAY tip! lol! OK here goes!
If your cursor shows "crosshairs" when it used to show brush size...
check your "Caps Lock" key. It toggles the cursor display from brush size to crosshairs.
Don't be afraid of the crosshairs though, they can be helpful if you are trying to do some very precise brushwork.

Ahhh! That MUST be what my problem is! LOL! Sometimes I'm working fine on a layout and all of a sudden all the pointers and whatnot are really weird...that COULD be it!! :) THANK YOU!
Wow, thanks..I didn't know that! Sometimes that has happened to me and I think I have a really small brush size and when I go to use it it's huge but I can't see it. Thanks for the Tip!

Thank you, Ange! I am so relieved to find out how to fix that. Drives me crazy. I used to have to close everything down and restart PS.

Oh My!!!! I have had this problem so many times and have gotten so frustrated. I even asked a photoshop expert why sometimes the cursor disappeared and he didn't know.
I am so happy to know this. YIPPPPPPEEEEE THANK YOU!!!!!!!
