trying to find plastic transparency sheets

when I paperscrapped, I could journal on a clear plastic transparency sheet. I would like to find a digi one or make one. Kind of like the plastic tabs in an element kit here in the shop http://www.scrapartist.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=3_15&products_id=359

the plastic label tags. I want a whole sheet of transparency!! I have tried to make my own using a gray and sliding the opacity down, so that DOES give me a slightly darker journaling square, but it looks completely blah. flat, lifeless. :( I need to give it a plastic look, plus i guess edges?
any thoughts?

I have gotten a lot of pm's about different things to try. None of them are what I am trying to do but THANKS for all your kindness. Actually TODAY (woohoo) I found what I have been looking for for three weeks.
