OK, I know I'm way early this week with the tip... but I'm headed out of town soon and I'm trying to get ahead! :)
Here's a quick fun tip I found about unlinking layers:
If you often link layers in Photoshop so you can easily move them all at once, you may have been frustrated in the past if you wanted to move just one of the linked layers. You had to unlink all the layers before you could move just one of them. Well, there’s an easy fix.
You can easily unlink all the layers you have linked to the currently active layer by Control + clicking on the Link icon at the bottom of the Layers palette.
Sometimes simple little tricks like this can really add up to some saved time in creating a layout! :)
