ok, i'm trying to take a straight line of stitching and curve it to text..any ideas how to do that? i use PSP but i'm guessing the procedure would be similar in any program... any ideas???

Hmmmmmm. Not sure what you mean. Are you using a brush or a premade stitch graphic? Are you wanting the stitching to have the shape of the text, or an actual curve?:)

well, say i have a stitch graphic (but i can easily make that into a brush)..but it's a straight stitched line. then, i have my text (in PSP on a vector layer) that i can convert to a curve if needs be... and i want the stitching to basically stitch the lines of the text.... i guess an easier way to explain it is that i want to make my own stitched text!? or something... lol

Hmmmm sounds like you want to brush on a path. I am not sure that psp can do that. I did a google search and couldn't find any tutorials but if you google "psp text on a path" that comes up but of course it's not quite the same. In photoshop, you can take *any* shape and turn it into a path and then brush along it's edges. Maybe post in the psp forum at sbb - if anyone will know, they will!

thanks, di! i'll post at SBB and see if anyone over there knows... i'll search a bit more around some PSP sites i've got... when i get a chance :)
