As digital scrapbookers we are always trying to keep track of supplies. Who designed them, what fonts we used, etc. Whether it's for posting in a gallery or for submitting to an online publication... seems we are always looking for our credits. There are many ways to keep track of this, but I wanted to list two of them here:
- I've heard of some people making a text layer that contains all this information right in their layout. After the information is recorded, just turn the layer visibility (click on the little eye) off. Then it's there to copy and paste if you need it again, but not interfering with your layout.
- Another similar option is to use the File Info. feature in Photoshop. From File go down to File Info... and this brings up a screen to record information like notes and such. This will stay with the file as well, and can be recalled at a similar time.
I'll admit I'm not the best about this... and I've had to go back and research things before... but these two methods can help keep track of all these details, so that hopefully no one is ever looking through their supplies trying to find a designer or font name! :)
