For those of you working on a Heritage Album, do you use the same kit throughout the album of do you choose multiple kits to fit the pictures. I'm working on one (just getting started) and could use some suggestions, tips, and guidance. Would also appreciate some links to heritage type kits you like the best! One more question.....do you tend to use muted/dark papers or bright papers? Thanks in advance for your responses!

Just looking through some OLD posts and ran across this one. When doing heritage albums, I use many, many different kits. Some are dark colors, some bright - whatever strikes me!! I love all things heritage and couldn't recomments any specific kit as you can really use ANY kit for a heritage layout!

I definately use different kits - and agree with Robin that you can use any kit.

Generally, the photo is the focal point of course, and I try to enhance the mood, the feel, of it, or the story that goes with it.

yes i agree, i use lots of different kits too, and colours as pleases me.

i have done one set of four LOs using same background and ribbons and different photos and elements, which looked nice and it flowed together as i wanted it to show they were about the same thing.

also i agree, i tend to make the photo the focus of the LO and think it needs to be reasonably large as that is what it is all about i think.

i find it hard to put just one photo on a LO, i tend to use several... but are getting used to just one.

i just make them all different and try to learn new techniques to use on them occasionally.

i love looking through the gallery here at all the old heritage ones, great ideas there, and just love doing robyn's challenges, they are so inspirational. sometimes she teaches us something as well, which is fantastic.

it is all very addictive and great fun.
