You will like this tip. Many times I've ran an action and it has many steps which fill up my history. If your history states aren't set high enough, sometimes it can be impossible to "undo" the action, or at least you have to go back through the history and find it... but here's a quick tip I found while surfing around today...
When recording a new action, always make "Create a new snapshot" the first step you record in your action. This way, if you run the action and decide you don't like the results, you can revert to the previous image state by clicking on the most recent snapshot.
Now I know a lot of use use the Atomic Cupcake actions, and the Create Snapshot isn't part of the action, so we could remember to do that step before... and then it's easy to revert back and undo the action!
