It's back to school time here at Scrap Artist! What's that you say ... "But it's May!" Well I'm not talking about the kids! I'm talking about Back To School for YOU! That's right ... you're gonna have to do some research this week! (That's the bad news.) But the GOOD news is you do NOT have to use a heritage picture! Well, how the heck can you do a heritage layout without a heritage picture??!! EASY! We are simply writing about our heritage.
Pick a subject that relates to your family heritage and scrap it! It can be a city, a country, a railroad, a river, a boat ... you name it. Pick a subject ... Google it and create a layout! You can often also find pictures using Google picture search!
It would also be great if in your journaling you told about how the subject relates to your family history.
I chose a church in Scotland where some of my ancestors are buried. Here's my example: The Parish Church for Ruthwell (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=12517&limit=last7)
Post a link here. I can't wait to see your layouts!
