The idea for this project came out of my need to provide my sister with a little housewarming present...I will be visiting her up in Petaluma CA at the end of this week, and she recently moved into another place.

She loves Victorian style decorating, Romantic Homes is her BIBLE of interior design...REALLY !!! Every room of her house looks like a page out of that mag!

The other thing she loves, and shares this in common with me, are baths and bath products...so I created a french style perfume bottle label using mine and hers favorite photo of my grandma, and bordered it with glass micro beads, using super tape, I will fill the bottle with some bath salts, and the topper will be a long shell... I wish the photo did this project true justice, because IRL, these micro beads are GORGEOUS and glisten so beautifully in the light.

See the finished project here:

Thanks, girls! I appreciate the sweet praise!

I've had some questions about where to find the tape I used to adhere the photo and beads to the bottle....

So I found a link to it...it is called terrifically tacky tape, it is manufactured by Provo Craft, and it can be found here:

They are out of stock, right now, but I thought you could give it a look and see what it is you are trying to find, and then maybe find it locally at your favorite craft store? I get mine at Beverlys....

There are probably lots of other places to find it on the web, now that I've given the name of the brand...(I forgot what it was called back when I first posted!! )
