Since last week's challenge was kind of hard, I decided to give you a break and post an easy one! There is no technique this week. All I ask is that you use pink on your heritage layout (photos must be 1970's and before). And not just a dab of pink ... I want to see a LOT of pink! For some of you this will be a breeze but it took me quite some time to get over my aversion to pink. I guess it stems from never being a girlie girl!
Thanks to those of you who played last week. I will PM you later today with your prize. And for participants this week, there will be another link to part of my War kit.
I'll post my sample momentarily.

I did this one already, lol! As you know, I really don't have that many heritage photos but this is one of 'em and I did it up pink!

I love PINK! I did a two-fer combining the Altered AAME & Heritage this week. Spring break <sigh> and the little munchkins are running wild. And fighting me for computer time!

this is the first time i have put up a photo here, so i hope i have done it right. By the look of all the other fantastic LOs I have a lot of learning to do... Any cc would be appreciated. I can't wait to join in with all the heritage challenges - i do local history here in ceduna in south australia and have a huge collection of all sorts of photos, as well as personal photos, and would love to use some of them.

I just love the challenges at ScrapArtist -- you challenge me to think outside of the box. I had scrapped this picture of my mother and grandmother several times, but was never happy with the result. Who knew pink was the answer?

I'm slipping in right under the wire, but here's mine. I actually started this a few days ago but got hit with a 3 day migraine. Fun! So, Robyn, I hope I don't get docked points for this but I combined challenges with Simply You. :-) Heck, I just realized, if I hadn't done the Past and Present Heritage challenge, this would qualify for that, too! lol Multi-tasking, that's what it's all about! :-)

Okay now...how could I call myself Princess Pinks-A-Lot and not post another pink
heritage layout? ;) LOL! Actually I did this one for my freebie kit and decided that since
I used a heritage photo...why not post it here! ;)

By the way...I'm with Robin about the age thing....30 is still a baby to me too!
In fact I'm not even near hitting my prime!!! ;) lol!! Isn't the golden birthday like the anniversary year? I thought it was 50...no? Okay if my memory is going it has
NOTHING to do with my age! ;) lol!!

Great layout Gina. You are the pink queen for sure! And as far as golden birthdays ... I just recently learned this term. It's when you turn the age of the day of the month when you were born. So if you were born on March 2nd for example, your golden birthday would be on March 2nd in the year you turn 2. I was born on July 27th so my golden birthday was the year I turned 27 (1997 for me!). At least that's how I understand it.

Ahaaa!! So mine was like a loooong time ago!! Thanks for the explanation!!
That's good to know! It's kind of like how I've been claiming that this is MY year because it's 2006 and my birthday is 2/06...lol!!

I actually made this quite a while ago and posted it elsewhere but I really wanted it in my gallery here which I'm trying to build up. So I thought I'd sneak it in under the guise of this challenge :D
Sorry Robyn, I promise next week I'll make a brand new layout! :)
