This week, I am giving you permission to use non-heritage photos in your heritage layout! The only catch is there needs to be at least one heritage (1970's or before) picture in the layout, too. I am calling the challenge 'Past Meets Present' because I want you to use a heritage picture of someone and then on the same layout, use a picture of that same person from many years later.
Here's my example: My Brother, Paul (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=9355&limit=last7)
Remember, if you post before Sunday night at midnight, you will receive the second link to my War kit (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=9020&cat=500&ppuser=1707). I think I'll give away the solid papers this week.

Just posted another example. Wayne's Life (http://www.scrapartist.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=9423&limit=last7)
This was actually a practice cover I made for a magazine I made for my Dad's 60th birthday last summer (Wayne Magazine (http://www.waynemagazine.com)). I didn't end up using this cover but it fit this challenge.

Not your usual style of Heritage LO but I guess this is Scrapartist :) These 2 photos are of me about 50 years apart

Wow Gerarda. This is one awesome layout. Love the colorization on the photo. Now stop scrapping and go take some pictures of your mom!

Yes, ma'am, if you say so... Don't be angry with me if it takes a few weeks, as she's not exactly living next door...:-)))

Robyn, here is my brother Jim. He was so cute as a child, and he will kill me if he sees this layout, but I think it turned out great. It has the highlights of his life, lol

I reworked my son's layout to fit with the challenge this week. Also, I added some of the information we uncovered for the report. This is going to be a very nice way to share what we uncovered for other family members. The flag in Joe R's famous photograph was taken from my grandfather's ship.

This is combo entry for Heritage and Out of the Box (used a girly kit for a guy layout). Dad died in '78 so my 'contemporary' photo is a newspaper clipping from 1973 when he was 43 years old.
I have to thank you for these challenges because I would have NEVER done this otherwise - it's been very therapeutic in ways...
